Course Description

Algebra 1B is designed for those serious students who need a thorough course in Algebra 1(high school) or Introductory Algebra(college developmental). This is the second half of the course. The student taking this course must have completed Algebra 1A before beginning this course. I also teach that class here at universalclass.com. These two courses are very comprehensive. They require the purchase of one particular textbook. I can help you find it on the internet at a reduced price. But, if you have already completed Algebra 1A with me then you already own the book!

If you have recently completed an Algebra 1 course, but are not sure you are ready for Algebra 2 then this course will help. But you must remember:

1.  solving equations 3x - (x+6) = 2 + 5x and  3x2 +10x - 8 = 0 ;

2.  factoring  polynomials: 3xy - 24xyz   and 3x2 +10x - 8

in order to take this class.

Please visit my web site for a free placement test  or info on the required book.
