Course Description

Join the growing list of families who have found answers for their struggling readers!

Is your child struggling with school work?  He or she seems to be smart, but doesn't get good grades or is labeled as 'lazy' or 'slow'?  Does your child not enjoy reading the way you did when you were young?  Chances are very good that there is an underlying reading problem.  Many children read well enough to 'get by' but do not read efficiently or well.  Others hide their reading problems by acting out, by refusing to do school work, or by avoiding reading whenever possible.  There are ways to help!

Don't let another year go by without offering some help to your student.  Reading problems almost never 'go away' or become 'outgrown.'  Specialized training and practice NOW can spare your child a lifetime as a disabled reader.

Whether your student attends public or private school, or is homeschooled, sometimes standard reading instruction just isn't enough.  In this class, you'll receive the guidance of an experienced tutor to track down and remediate a wide variety of difficulties.

This class is a combination of on-line information and consultation service to help adults who are concerned about a struggling reader. Advice and suggestions are offered for many types of reading problems and are applicable to a wide range of age groups. Enrolled participants are invited to consult, receive weekly suggestions for helping their students, and use the information for four weeks, after which they will have 'completed' the class. Participants may then re-enroll (for a reduced fee of $20 for another month) if they desire to continue to have access to the consultation and information available here.
